Hopeless Wanderer

Moving so fast yet standing still,
Peering to past and future atop sandy hill.
Questions unknown to answers seeking,
Memories fading like autumn leafy.
Aggresive degression betrayal of mind,
A familiar stranger’s touch seems so kind.
Missing the moisture a lovers kiss gives,
Unaware where her conscience lives.
Her ragged sun is low in the west,
Behind are their days of best.
The Disease pushes two asunder,
Leaving each as a Hopeless Wanderer.

A Dove Flies Away

I don’t usually get all political. But this has been weighing heavy on my mind since the bombings and school shootings. We see these kind of things more and more often. How do we stop this sort of action without becoming our enemy.

As I sit

amongst blue

watching what could be is

fraught with confusion

should be simple

shouldn’t it?

They are our brothers, sisters

common by man

But hawks wait

readying,

he plans

HIS attack

talons sharp and graceful swoop

never see it coming

A white majesty with olive in beak

what does he have to offer?

his promise is weak

Head to Head

when faced with decision

the only option to flee

A dove flies away

for sake of becoming the hawk
